Some of us were sitting around the table on New Year's Eve talking about our blessings in 2010 and what we are looking forward to in 2011. I have so many things to be thankful for that happened in 2010, most of all is the good health of most of my family. I learned how to spin and got my new spinning wheel in the last year, also all of our livestock had healthy babies.
My nephew David and his wife Melanie had a baby boy, Jaxon Levi Rush, he will carry on the Rush name. Poor little guy, he already has the burden on his shoulders! He is a sweet baby, and I even have a picture of the four generations of Rush men...
I also got my little dog Ginger last year. THAT is something I didn't think I would ever do, but I did, and I sure am happy about it. For a while there I wanted to scream and throw my hands up yell, "I give up!", but I kept on, and she is pretty well potty trained now. I love her so much, and she is somebody else to knit for, yay! Did I say "somebody"? Yep, she's my baby.
When Daniel and Holly came over the other night, Chloe was all dressed up so cute, and she had on her poncho I made her at the end of last winter. Take a peek at her, isn't she a doll?
See? I have so many great reasons to be thankful, and God is so great, He just keeps blessing me and blessing me!
2011 here we come!
