Brittney's Flit and Float Scarf Done and First Days

I finally finished Brittney's Flit and Float scarf. She really likes it, though it is way too hot to even think about doing more than suffering through having her picture taken with it on right now. But it is ready for her to wrap around her pretty neck once we - if we ever - get a chill in the air.

I found this soft drapey mohair like yarn in a thrift store for about a dollar, sweet find. The pattern is from, Spring 2009. It was really fun to make, so thank you Birdy Evans.

Chloe had her first day of pre-school last Monday, and Aiden had his first day of kindergarten today. Aiden's first day was supposed to be last Monday too, but his doctor decided it would be a good day to take his tonsils out. He missed the first whole week of school, and was glad to go back today.
